THE FACTS ARE THESE

Between the yellow-tinted optimism of 2014 and the feverish, socially distanced paranoia of 2024, precisely ten years elapsed in Metro Manila.

During this rather noisy decade, the political landscape pivoted sharply toward madness, a global contagion arrived to test everyone’s indoor sanity, and an intertwined circle of friends made a series of consistently chaotic, entirely human choices.

Generation Q is the chronicle of those very choices.

It is not an epic tale of grand heroes saving the world, but a story about ordinary people simply surviving adulthood the only way they know how—in a metropolis where the drainage is purely decorative, the politics are terrifying, and heartbreak arrives strictly during rush hour.

Best consumed chronologically.
